Alger County records are divided among the Sheriff Department, the county courts, the Michigan State Police Criminal Justice Information Center, the Michigan Department of Corrections, and the Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry. This privately run resource was built to make that split easier to follow. It directs readers to the official portal, counter, address, or phone line that holds each type of record.

Why We Built This Site

Michigan provides several ways to reach public criminal record information, yet each office keeps only its own part. The Alger County Sheriff Department holds jail and booking material. The 93rd District Court and 11th Judicial Circuit Court keep filed charges, docket events, and outcomes. Michigan State Police operates ICHAT and the central repository, while state custody records appear through MDOC and registry information appears through PSOR. The site organizes official contacts, request steps, search tools, and known fees so readers can choose the proper custodian.
